The Search
Process
Initial Hearing
The most important part of
the search process, understanding the needs of the client.
Search Strategy and Fee Structure
An essential discussion between the consultant and the
client to ascertain the best and most efficient approach.
Candidate Identification
This involves the creation of a list of target candidates
from whatever sources are deemed appropriate. NinePoint consultants
will search through databases, directories, the internet or
focus on specific companies through a direct contact approach in order to
gather the best talent for our clients.
Initial Contact and Screening
Narrow down the list of possible candidates to those with
the appropriate qualifications and interest.
Interview
Face to face interview with each candidate to further screen
their capabilities but also to check the cultural fit as well.
Introduction
The English resumes of qualified and interested
candidates will be sent to the hiring manager via Email in a standardized
format for easy comparison. Comments from the consultant on the
interview will be included and Japanese resumes can be requested if necessary.
Interview Coordination& De-briefing
The consultant will coordinate the timing of the
interview and make sure the both sides have the necessary information to make
the meeting productive. A follow-up to both candidate and hiring manager
immediately after the interview ensures that the process moves forward
smoothly. Additional interviews will be handled similarly.
Negotiation Facilitator
The consultant will mediate the offer negotiation process to
the extent that both parties require.
Offer Confirmation
Delivery of the offer and confirmation of its acceptance.
Start Date and Follow-up
The start date of the successful candidate signals the end of
one phase and the beginning of the next. NinePoint consultants are
committed to following through with our placements and maintain contact with
each candidate to provide counseling and support as they begin their new job
to ensure their success.
